Contributing surgeons and centres are invited to validate their cataract audit data on the RCOphth National Ophthalmology Database (NOD) audit website by 25 March 2024.
The data analysis has been completed for the seventh year of the audit, covering the period 01 April 2022 to 31 March 2023. Contributing surgeons and centres can now view their data behind the secure login on the NOD audit website, prior to inclusion in the annual report which is due for imminent publication.
The NOD team encourages all contributing surgeons and centres to check their data by 25 March ahead of the report publication. Please inform as many of your colleagues as possible to check their individual data on the NOD audit website.
If you are already registered to use the NOD website, please log in with your details and your data will be available for viewing in the data and report section of the website. If you are yet to register, please do so here.
Before the final analyses are run for presentation on the NOD website and for publication in the annual report, we would be grateful if you could take the opportunity to login and ensure that the data visible to you is in line with what you were expecting, and cross-check any discrepancies with local audit at your organisation.
Please email the NOD audit team if you have reason to believe that your data are incorrect and there is a need to make changes before publication of the annual report and audit outcomes. The data validation period will end on Monday 25 March 2024. If we do not hear back from you by this date, we will assume you agree that your results are accurate for publication on the NOD website.
Many thanks for your continued engagement with the NOD audits.
