- Advance your career, broaden your skills and gather additional qualifications
- Access specialist resources such as College News magazine and EyeMail enewsletter
- Network and collaborate with other eye care professionals on College projects and networking.
As a foundation doctor or medical student, becoming an Associate member will support you to:
- Nurture your interest in ophthalmology and learn about the different subspecialisms
- Understand what day-to-day work as an ophthalmologist entails
- Use College resources and support to prepare your application for ophthalmic specialist training (OST).
How to apply for Associate membership
1. If you don’t have a College account you can create one at our member portal MyRCOphth
2. Please fill in the relevant online application form for eye care professionals or medical students/foundation doctors
3. We will confirm receipt, set up your membership and invite you to pay the membership fee to complete your registration.
