We are encouraging members to take part in the NHSE outcomes and registries programme, a single registry of implantable devices. We have been working closely with NHSE to provide clinical leadership as the programme develops.
You may already be aware of the programme, which aims to gather meaningful information that services can use to inform patient safety, outcome improvements and effective resource use. Organisations were contacted directly by NHSE in May 2023 and should have been working towards implementation. Participation is mandatory from May 2024.
Talk to your service lead to understand how you can contribute data to the registry and how you can extract the data to inform your own practice.
