ACCIA expects the 2023 Clinical Impact Awards round to open for applications in March 2023. The window is set to be open for 8 weeks.
The timetable will be published online as soon as it has been finalised, along with updated guidance and details of any process changes.
There are further changes to the scheme in that National Nominating Organisations (NNOs) are no longer required to score, rank and provide citations. The role of the NNO is to provide
advice on how to draft better application forms by using the ACCIA tools and checklist. Therefore applicants no longer need to send applications in to the College seeking College support.
Webinar Monday 6 February 2023
ACCIA will also be hosting 2 webinars, hosted by ACCIA Medical Director Professor Kevin Davies, to help prospective applicants and their employers better understand the application and assessment process. As well as bookable live attendance, recordings of the events will be available so applicants can access them when convenient.
The applicant webinar will provide an overview of the National Clinical Impact Awards process, best practice and support in writing an application. It is available to all applicants to
talk them though the scheme, domain structure and scoring processes, eligibility and submission process. The webinar will consist of a presentation and point applicants to resources that they can engage with following the session.
The webinar will be held virtually with a recording available on demand following the session.
