As part of our role to promote high standards of ophthalmology training and education, the College has this week launched an accreditation scheme for ophthalmology and ophthalmological surgery-related courses run by external providers.
Course Accreditation will enable us to apply our robust quality assurance to a range of courses targeted at our members, providing them with a wider portfolio of learning opportunities.
Course providers running high-quality educational or scientific courses for ophthalmologists can apply for accreditation. If they are successful, their course will be awarded Royal College of Ophthalmologists Course Accreditation for a three-year period. It will be listed on the College website and promoted to members, and the course provider will be entitled to badge their course with a College logo.
You can see full details and find out how to apply in the Course Accreditation section.
