Want to make a difference to homelessness? The charity Crisis at Christmas will be running eyecare clinics for their guests, and are looking for volunteers for these clinics. Crisis supports individuals experiencing rough sleeping with a safe place to stay, a hot meal and support services, and aim to have up to 5000 volunteers operating across 3 hotels and 4 day centres throughout London. Their guests are some of the most vulnerable and least supported individuals across London, and one of their key aims is to provide as much high-quality support to them as possible.
The services will take place at CRISIS, Corus Hyde Park Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western, 1 Lancaster Gate, London, W2 3LG.
The shifts will on the 26, 28 and 29 December. Shift times are between 11.00am – 17:00pm on the 26 and 28 and 11:00 – 15:30 on the 29 Dec. Members who are interested in volunteering can email [email protected] or call on 07872677773.
